Bob Price spent three decades working in flooring and construction across Utah before he and his sons decided to go out under their own name. He didn't start Pine River Construction because he needed work — he started it because he was tired of watching jobs get done the wrong way.
Wes, Jay, and Derek had each been in the trades for over ten years by the time Pine River launched in 2021. They weren't learning on the job. They were bringing a combined 60+ years of hands-on experience to every project from day one.

Bob Price
General Manager
Bob Price has 30+ years of experience across design and construction — product design, project management, residential and commercial builds, and teaching the craft at the university level. He's worked at every level of the industry, which gives him a perspective most contractors don't have.
That range shows in how he approaches a project. Bob brings a designer's eye and a contractor's practicality to every estimate. He explains the work clearly, holds his standards high, and has spent his career mentoring the next generation of trade professionals.
His passion for functional, well-crafted spaces hasn't dimmed in over three decades. That's what Pine River is built on.

Wes, Jay, and Derek each have over a decade of trade experience. When Pine River launched in 2021, they weren't new to the work — they were new to having their family's name on it.
Wes Price
Project Manager
Wes studied architectural design at UVU and has spent 12 years in the construction industry working on both sides of the process — design and build. That background gives him an eye for the small details that separate a good result from a great one.
He works closely with homeowners to understand what they're after, and he doesn't consider a project done until the vision they started with is what's standing in front of them.
Jay Price
Project Manager
Jay has 12 years in the construction industry and a reputation for doing the work carefully and correctly — every time. He holds his projects to a high standard and doesn't cut corners to get there faster.
Away from the job, Jay's priorities are his wife and their two daughters. He'll tell you that same dedication follows him onto every project he takes on.
Derek Price
Project Manager
Derek has 10+ years of experience across residential, commercial, and custom construction — and he approaches every project like it's the one people will remember.
His focus is craftsmanship that's both durable and visually precise. He doesn't just finish a project — he thinks about how it'll look and hold up five years from now.
