Yes — Highland is our home city. Bob Price founded Pine River Construction here in 2021, and his sons Wes, Jay, and Derek live and work in the area. We serve all of Highland and the surrounding Utah County and Salt Lake County communities.
Most Highland homes were built between the mid-1990s and early 2010s with wood-frame construction — great candidates for solid or engineered hardwood on main and upper levels. Basements are best served by LVP, which handles Utah's humidity swings without cupping or gapping. We assess each room individually during your free estimate.
Hardwood floor installation typically runs $6–$14 per square foot installed depending on species and subfloor condition. LVP installation runs $4.50–$8.50 per square foot. Hardwood refinishing runs $4–$8 per square foot. All estimates are free, written, and itemized — no surprises at billing.
Yes. Squeaky subfloors, water-damaged boards, cupped or buckled hardwood, and winter gapping are among the most common calls we get from Highland homeowners — especially in older wood-framed construction. We diagnose and fix the root cause, not just the surface symptom.
